The original run of bare•bones (the digest sized follow-up to The Scream Factory: The Magazine of Horrors Past, Present and Future) was published by Deadline Press (1997-2001) and edited by Peter Enfantino and John Scoleri.

Volume 1 #2 (whole issue #2) was our second print issue of the original run of bare•bones and the first to sell out, twenty years ago! It features articles on:
