The original run of bare•bones (the digest sized follow-up to The Scream Factory: The Magazine of Horrors Past, Present and Future) was published by Deadline Press (1997-2001) and edited by Peter Enfantino and John Scoleri.

Volume 2 #1 (whole issue #5) was our next-to-last print issue of the original run of bare•bones and features articles on:
